Recently Twitter has added another useful ingredient in the right-sidebar of your twitter's homepage that is a list of trending topics. Trending topics let you update about latest news and topics.If you post something original about these trending topics at your blog as well, I bet you will increase your visibility and receive a lot of traffic from the search engines, blog directories, social networks and social media.
By taking part in the trending topic conversations, there is a strong chance that people will click on your profile and read some of your other tweets and hopefully click through to a site that you have listed in the profile.
