Amsterdam is one of the busiest tourist destinations in Europe. Just the name is enough to send any traveler dreaming. Amsterdam is a vibrant, multicultural city with a unique atmosphere where unusual and even surreal experiences abound. And I am not just talking about "Rembrandt 400," year 2006 that was marked to celebrate the 400th birthday of Rembrandt van Rijn. The romantic city is famous as a short break destination around the world. Best part is that Amsterdam city breaks are available all year round.
Given my own interest as a traveler, I know that Amsterdam has enough to keep you indulged in for some time. A canny blend of old and new: radical squatter art installations hang off 17th-century eaves; BMWs give way to bicycles; and triple-strength monk-made beer is drunk in gleaming, minimalist cafes makes the city as one of the best hangouts. The city seems to thrive on its mix and, despite large number of tourists, still manages to feel quintessentially Dutch. The old crooked houses, the cobbled streets, the tree-lined canals and the generous parks all contribute to the atmosphere. My recommendation is that you have a city breaks in Amsterdam. Only then you can have the feeler of the city attractions.
How to get there? How to find flights to Amsterdam? Thanks to Directline-citybreaks that they help find the cheap Amsterdam flights to be there. Explore Directline-citybreaks and see what they are offering and how. I liked their flight search section. Try and you will find amazing results. What else, I should be planning Amsterdam short breaks instead of writing this.
