IT has already made considerable impact in distance education. With the advent of computers and internet, learning is no longer restricted to time and place. Students these days have access to a vast amount of information and resources outside the confines of classrooms and auditoriums and they are pursuing their interests in different academic fields from getting degrees to getting different certifications at their own pace. Lifelong learning (as advocated by divine Islam) has enabled people of all ages to improve their education and learn new skills.
